A Thought On Books

It is amazing how excited some people get over a few words on a piece of paper, or these days a computer monitor.

Why this amazes me, I am not sure. As this trait almost seems to have been engrained in our genetic code.

While not the earliest, nor the most graphic, recorded example; there was a time when Earth was believed to be the center of the universe. The ancient Greeks believed this with such emotion that a person could be put to death for stating that this belief might not be true.

I personally belive that there are some things in the universe that simply have no redeeming value and have no business being in stores, in catalogs and diffinetly not on the net.

However, if we prevent information from being freely distributed, what happens when our ideas are the ones that people belive should not be seen.

Just something to think about.
