ALWAYS learn what the possible side effects, before Taking Vitamins, over the counter drugs or even prescription drugs. If you are unsure, consult a medical professional.

Below are some problems various studies have indicated that some vitamins taken in excess can cause.

This is NOT a complete list of all dangers for all vitamins.



Vitamin A: 

   Severe headaches. 
   Dry Cracked skin. 
   Enlarged liver and spleen. 
   Loss of appetite.  
   Irritability. 
   Joint Pains.  


Vitamin D:

   Loss of appetite.  
   Excessive urination.  
   Nausea and weakness.  
   Weight loss.  
   Hypertension.  
   Anemia.  
   Irreversible Kidney Failure that can lead to DEATH.


Vitamin E:

   headaches
   nausea
   fatigue
   giddiness
   blurred vision
   chapped lips and mouth inflammation
   low blood sugar
   "thinning" of blood (bleed easily)


B Vitamins:

   I have only listed a few problems,
   Each B has its own characteristics and problems, 

        chapped, bleeding, lips
	B6: can lead to liver damage. 
	B1: can destroy B12 


Vitamin C:

   Kidney problems and diarrhea
   Adverse effects on growing bones. 
 
   Rebound Scurvy (a condition that can occur when a person taking 
                  large doses suddenly stops)
	 Symptoms include: swollen or bleeding gums, loose teeth, 
                           roughening of skin, muscle pain.

   Destruction of Vitamin B12 to the point that B12 deficiency 
         may become a problem.

   Overdoses can cause pregnant women and their newborn infants 
         various problems.
